Google Photos is changing their storage rules June 1, 2021
Starting June 1, 2021 free Google accounts will share their 15 Gig allotment of Google Drive with Google Photos. If you are seeing this blog before June 1, 2021 you have time to utilize the unlimited free space with your pictures at High Quality.
